On Thursday, November 29 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, Dr. Barry Leonard invited the local business community into his offices to celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah and New Years. The event was organized by the Greater San Fernando Valley Chamber of Commerce.
A highlight of the event was the Christmas Tree with paper ornaments, each containing the name of a child in need of a Christmas Gift. Attendees took the names and brought in gifts for these deserving children.
The gift campaign was organized by Penny Lane Centers, an organization committed to fostering hopes and dreams by empowering children, youth and families to reach their highest potential. Food was catered by Stonefire Grill. Beer provided by 818 Brewing.
A good time was had by all, and lots of kids were certain to receive Christmas gifts.
