
Dr. Alex Bennett, OD, is a highly accomplished optometrist with a diverse academic and professional background. Dr. Bennett graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Natural Resources Management. With over a decade of experience as an optician fabricating eyewear, Dr. Bennett honed his expertise in creating precision optical lenses while learning to provide exceptional patient care. He then furthered his education at the Western University of Health Science in Pomona, California, where he obtained his Doctor of Optometry.
Dr. Bennett’s clinical interests extend to the forefront of optometry, encompassing myopia control for children and teenagers. Dr. Bennett also discovered his interest in the fitting of scleral contact lenses for patients with complex corneal irregularities, during his time as a student working with Dr. Barry Leonard, OD. As of 2023, Dr. Bennett became a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry, demonstrating his commitment to advanced training in the field of Optometry. Dr. Bennett continually strives to provide his patients with optimal visual outcomes to live their best life without compromise in vision.
Committed to staying at the forefront of his profession, Dr. Bennett actively maintains memberships in both the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association, fostering a network of professional connections and accessing cutting-edge research in the field.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Bennett finds joy in maintaining an active lifestyle. Always looking to push his boundaries, Dr. Bennett enjoys distance running, and participating in obstacle-based Spartan races. Additionally, Dr. Bennett cultivates his artistic side by playing the drums and painting. Dr. Bennett’s favorite past-time, is hiking with his loving and supportive partner, Tiffany Tseng.
