Doctor Villalobos was born and raised in Fresno, California.  He graduated from the University of Pacific in Stockton, where he earned a bachelor of science in Biology and a minor in Psychology.  He completed his Doctorate of Optometry at the Southern California College of Optometry (now Marshall B. Ketchum University) in Fullerton, CA.

Dr. Villalobos holds the highest certification in the diagnosis, management and treatment of eye diseases.  He had clinical training in the management of patients with diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy, macular degeneration and glaucoma at the VA in Bakersfield, CA.  He also trained at the renowned Wellish Vision Institute in Nevada, providing pre- and post-operative care for refractive and cataract surgeries.

Dr. Villalobos has served the San Fernando Valley for most of his optometric career.  His optometric interests include soft contact lens fittings, emergency ocular care, and most importantly providing a thorough eye examination with excellent patient education.  He is fluent in Spanish, and with his diverse experience he enjoys working with patients of all ages.
